Let’s face it. Getting into a routine can be difficult. Do you find that you are overwhelmed by the options you have for staying fit and healthy? Does it seem like everyone has an opinion on the best way to eat, the best way to train, and how frequently wellness should appear in your life? You wouldn’t be the first one!
As a trainer and yoga instructor my mission is to make your relationship to wellness more relaxed, more effective, and more tailored to what you feel like you need rather than what someone else is insisting you should do.
Let me help you simplify. Let's rebuild your relationship with your body, what you eat, and what you do with your time to work out. We’ll work together to address the following:
-an examination of your diet, what’s working, what’s not, and how to put in place gradual change
-creation of a series of workouts that will address your strength, flexibility, & cardiovascular health
-a close, honest look at your schedule to see where wellness fits reasonably into your life
From this beginning point we can begin to develop a routine, reasonable goals and expectations as well as easy-to-grasp techniques for creating change. Your work with me will not be cookie cutter programming. It will be tailored to your needs based on what we discover in our first several sessions. ONE-ON-ONE PERSONAL TRAINING
All sessions are 60 minutes in length and will be held at Capital Fitness (more information below). Sessions held at Capital Fitness will be purchased through the gym. If you have access to another gym where I can train you or a proper training space at home, we can work there.
Included in the session price are notes on any routines we establish. This includes: workout notes, workout schedule/calendars, and general guidelines around diet. Your written information will be available to you via Google Docs and other online resources where necessary. If you are new to these online formats, I will teach you how to use them in our sessions.
Included in the session price is general support and accountability via email between your sessions for questions, concerns, and general feedback. I will always answer your emails within two business days.
Your programming will be adapted based on your feelings and progress as we go. If you have experience, we will work from where you already are and refine what you have going. If you are beginner, we will start from the ground up. All levels welcome.
SIX WEEK COACHING (IN PERSON OR ONLINE)
My six week coaching packages are designed for individuals who have some amount of self-sufficiency and simply need guidance and structure around exercise and diet week to week. The construction of your program will be unique to your circumstances and goals. After an initial consult and package agreement, you'll recieve:
-an overview of your program, including frequency for workouts, classes, cardio, and rest days
-writeups of your workouts, if we agree to include written fitness programming
-dietary guidelines that fit your life and support your goals
-supportive online materials for your exercise programming and diet
-a weekly email check in with me (questions you answer & I reply to so we "touch base" weekly)
-as much or as little session time as you like (scheduled in 30 minute increments)
-if applicable to your goals, composition measurements at the start and finish of our program
-access to me via text (for quick questions) or email/phone (for larger concerns)
Depending on your need for support & programming, the size and price of these packages varies. After our consultation, I will offer you a few packages I feel could help you meet your goals and we work together to determine what suits your needs as well as your budget. Prices range between $200 and $500 depending on the intensiveness of your program. When we have agreed on a program I will have your content ready to start within three business days.
You'll have a start date and and end date and all offerings on these packages must be utilized within your six weeks. Any remaining time or content unused at the end of your six weeks will expire. All packages must be paid for in full prior to receiving content or coaching and no refunds or returns are offered once the payment is complete.
Most clients find that they use me for 2-4 six week phases of work to get a grasp on how to design their fitness and diet life on their own. Some clients use me for 1-2, and then return a few months later, while others use the six week programs on an ongoing basis to maintain progress. How you piece the programs together is entirely up to you - if you elect to use them successively, one program will support the next. If you elect to use them non-successively, we always use our final meeting to "cap off" our work and give you ideas on how to maintain your progress alone.

ABOUT CAPITAL FITNESS AND THE YOGA SANGHA AT CAPITAL FITNESS
Capital Fitness, located just off Downtown Madison's beautiful Capitol Square, has it all! This facility is a full-service gym with two complete yoga studios at the same location. Housed inside the building you'll also find Elevation Salon and Spa.

You do NOT have to be a member at Capital Fitness to enjoy personal training with me. If you'd simply like to use the facility to meet me, you can for an additional cost on top of regular session pricing. We will have full use of the gym and a private yoga studio during our session time.

PERSONAL TRAINING AND COACHING PACKAGE TERMS
All sessions must be paid in full in advance and will be held at Capital Fitness or a pre-approved alternative training space. Sessions held at Capital Fitness will be charged through the gym. For offsite training or coaching I accept cash, check, and Venmo transactions.
There are no returns or refunds on any training packages or coaching packages. Transfers to another individual may be allowed for major medical emergencies/limitations that arise which will require documentation from your medical facility/physician.
You must meet with me a minimum of once weekly (unless otherwise discussed) to ensure your cumulative success. We can work around your schedule in a "spot schedule" fashion or secure a recurring time for the length of your package. You will have one week per session plus two weeks to execute your package (IE 7 weeks for 5 sessions, 12 weeks for 10 sessions). I will happily accommodate more time if you are going on vacation or have a major life event to schedule around. After your allotment of weeks the package will expire. This is to keep you focused and successful and to protect my investment of time as your trainer.
Any session cancellation requires a 24 hour notice to Kaila via phone or email. Any cancellation within 24 hours will be charged. You will enjoy one "freebie" for illness/emergency/change of plans. Any further cancellations within your package will be charged regardless of reasoning.
